Since Thursday is National Sanctity of Human Life Day, this week is the perfect time to recognize the good work done by the trained volunteers with Choices of WNC – Murphy Pregnancy & Planning Center, which held an open house on Jan. 14. The nonprofit’s mission, according to choicesofwnc.com, is to provide support, mentoring, medical services and resources to women, men and families facing planned or unplanned pregnancies in order to make healthy life choices through the love of Jesus Christ. They offer help and healing with compassion and fairness, using biblical principles.
Choices offers a variety of services, which include pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, motherhood and fatherhood classes, birthing preparation, lactation consultation and abortion/miscarriage recovery.
