Take notice that a pleading seeking relief against you has been filed in the above-entitled action. The nature of the relief being sought is as follows:
Foreclosure sale to satisfy unpaid property taxes owing to Cherokee County on your interest in the property described as follows:
Lot #I-1 of what is known as the Tanglewood Forest Subdivision, Murphy Township, District #6, as shown on a plat of survey by J.D. Shields Surveying Company dated April, 1975, and from said plat described as follows:
BEGINNING on an iron pin on the Western shore of a lake, the Southeast corner of Lot I-2 and the Northeast corner of the herein described lot, and runs thence S 48-45 W 25.0 feet to a point in the Western end of the dam located at the South end of said lake; thence running with the centerline of an access road S 28-00 W 152.0 feet, S 38¬15 W 100.0 feet and S 21-15 W 40.0 feet to a point of intersection with an existing subdivision access road, the Southernmost corner of the herein described lot; thence running with the centerline of said existing subdivision access road, the centerline of which forms the Western boundary line of the herein described lot, N 14-30 W 88.50 feet, N 20-00 W 144.7 feet and N 20-20 E 108.0 feet to a point in said road centerline, the Northwest corner of the herein described lot and the Southwest corner of Lot #I-2; thence running with a line common to Lot #I-2, S 75-30 E 204.4 feet to the
BEGINNING, containing 1.0 acres, more or less.
Together with and subject to easements, restrictions, water rights and rights of way of record, and matters of survey.
Also being identified as Parcel ID# 4593-00-76-5177-000, Cherokee County Tax Office.

Plaintiff seeks to extinguish any and all claims and interests that you may have in the property, to have a commissioner appointed to sell the Property and to deliver to the purchaser a deed to said real estate in fee simple, free and clear of all encumbrances, and that the interests and equities of redemption of the Defendants in the property be forever barred and foreclosed.
You are required to make defense to such pleading not later than May 28, 2024 and upon your failure to do so the party seeking service against you will apply to the court for the relief sought.
