Peachtree – The American Championship Wrestling Federation’s third event of the year, “March Mayhem,” lived up to its name at the packed Peachtree Community Center on Saturday night.

The main event was for the ACWF tag team championship in a best-of-three elimination match where the first tag team to pin the other twice wins.

The American Outlaws successfully defended their belts against the Men of Honor. Axel Freakin Gunn of American Outlaws got the match started against Stryker of Men of Honor. As they went back and forth, Gunn tagged in the other half of the American Outlaws, Killshot. Frodo was then tagged in to go head to head against the champs.

Frodo was struggling during the match because of a knee injury he suffered in a match earlier Saturday night. Men of Honor successfully got the first pin to put the American Outlaws in a tricky situation with their titles on the line. They quickly turned around got a pin on Men of Honor after further injuring Frodo’s knee.

The next pin would determine the tag-team champions as Mountain Man Jeremy Stiles stepped in for the injured Frodo. The American Outlaws were upset by this and showed the referee their displeasure, but it only fueled their want to retain their belts even more. After multiple big slams from Killshot, the American Outlaws were able to retain their championship belts.

“We destroyed the Girls of Honor,” Axel Freakin Gunn said in a post-match interview as he poked fun at the Men of Honor. “That’s the only thing that matters to me. We’re the winners, and they’re the losers.”

The Men of Honor shared their thoughts on the main event. “It was a crappy ending. I thought we had it,” Stryker said.

“They have to find some way, somehow every time to cheat. They can’t wrestle straight up. They just can’t be men, like the Men of Honor. That’s who we are because we wrestle straight. They can’t. They have to cheat every which way they find out,” Stiles said.

At next month’s event, the American Outlaws will defend their tag team titles against The End.

“It’s just another stepping stone for us,” said Killshot, while Axel Freaking Gunn added, “We’re going to destroy them. We’re the No. 1 tag team and they know it.”

In the first match of the night, there was a four-man elimination match for the U.S. championship. In this match, two competitors started in the ring, then in two minute intervals, the remaining two would come to the ring.

Kilawaya and Stiles started it off. Both men took shots at each other, but knew they had to conserve energy because the fight was far from over.

The next man to join them in the ring was El Parka Dark. He made an immediate impact once he stepped foot in the squared circle.

The final man to come to the ring was Digger James. Once he stepped in the ring, the real competition began and eliminations could take place. James made an impact by dealing out damage to each competitor that he put in the corners.

El Parka Dark was the first one eliminated after a choke slam from James. Almost immediately after, Kilawaya reversed a move in the corner from Stiles and eliminated him. After a few minutes of back-and-forth action, Kilawaya pinned Digger James to win the title.

In the second math of the night, Adrian Hernandez took on Frodo. The match was a no contest since El Parka Dark and Hypnahtik jumped in the ring, interfered with the match and injured Frodo.

In the third match of the night, the tag team of James and The Freak defeated Adrian Hernandez and El Parka Dark of The End. During this match, the third member of The End, Hypnahtik, was handcuffed on the outside of the ring so that he could not interfere with the match. James landed big moves and The Freak was able to successfully beat down The End en route to getting the win.

ACWF will return to the Peachtree Community Center on Saturday, April 13, for its next event.
