June youth hoops camp
On June 10, 11 and 13 from 5-7 p.m., Hiwassee Dam baseball will be hosting a skills camp for ages 8-14. The camp will take place at the Hiwassee Dam baseball field. The fee is $40 per participant.
Sign up for the camp will be from 4:30-5 p.m. Monday, June 10, at the baseball field. You do not have to be a Hiwassee Dam student to participate.
The camp will cover basics of throwing, catching, fielding and hitting. Instructors will be current Hiwassee Dam coaches, players and other Eagles staff.

Free camp for football
From 6-8 p.m. Monday, Andrews High School will host a free youth football camp for rising second- through seventh-graders. The camp will be held on the Andrews High practice field.
The camp will be instructed by Wildcat players and coaches, with former Wildcat and current Mars Hill Lion Isaac Weaver.

Camp for soccer set
The Cherokee County Soccer League will host a youth summer camp from 10 a.m. to noon from July 29 through Aug. 1. The camp will be at Heritage Park for ages 4-18.
The camp is $60 per person. Register by Sunday, June 30, to receive a CCSL T-shirt. Proceeds from the camp will go toward ordering new goals and net for their Andrews and Murphy fields.
