Asheville – The T.C. Roberson meet Saturday had 144 swimmers representing eight teams, five of which were in class 3A or higher.
Murphy and Tri-County Early College were the smallest teams attending. Here are the results by school.

Fern Crayton, third in 200-meter freestyle and second in 500 fee.
Ariana Rivas, fourth in both the 50 free and 100 butterfly.
Jaden Crocker, 10th in the 100 breaststroke.
William Boyd, 10th in the 200 free.
Griffin Croteau-Schreiner, eighth in the 100 fly.
Landon Spies, eighth in the 100 breast.
Nathan Abejam, seventh in the 100 free.

Girls 200 medley, seventh with MaryLynn Hulsey, Crocker, Rivas and Tina Trigueros.
Girls 200 free, 10th with Tori Jimenez, Crocker, Trigueros and Iris Diaz-Menchu.
Girls 400 free, fifth with Fern, Hulsey, Jimenez and Rivas.
Boys 400 free, fifth with Logan DiCicio, Abejam, Boyd and Landon Spies.

Ansley Roper, 11th in 200 individual medley.
Delilah Naylor, 12th in 200 IM, ninth in 100 breast.
Nina Turner joined Roper and Naylor in both the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay.
Making history
Previously in an unreported meet, Rivas swam an automatic regional cut time in the 100 free by 2.54 seconds. She TCEC school records in the 50 free and 100 butterfly.
In addition, Rivas’ 26.59 50 free and 1:07.52 butterfly are the second-fastest girls times in Cherokee County history behind Emily Reid at 25.95 50 in 2017 and V. Maxwell’s 1:03.99 butterfly in 2000.
