    Zelmon Lee Clark, 82, of Andrews, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021, at his residence.  
    He was a native and lifetime resident of Andrews and a 1957 graduate of Andrews High School.
    He had served in the U.S. Army and was a proud member of the 25th Infantry Division out of Honolulu, Hawaii.  
    Zelmon worked as a machinist throughout his life and retired in 2002. He was a member and past Master of Andrews Masonic Lodge No. 529, and attended Oak Grove Baptist Church in Marble.  
    Zelmon was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends.  He loved his grandchildren and took great interest in everything they did.
    Zelmon was the son of the late Monroe and Loree Mann Clark, and husband of the late Emogene Neal Clark, who passed away Aug. 11, 2020.
    Surviving are two sons, Kenney Clark and wife Christel of Andrews and Darrell “Juice” Clark and wife Krystal of Andrews; three grandchildren, Kaden Lee Clark, Carley Michelle Clark and Dalton West, who he also thought of as a grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews, with the Rev. Randall Moss officiating. Pallbearers were Kaden Clark, Brandon West, Dalton West, Josh Fulford, Jeff Mashburn and Jim Daily.  Honorary pallbearer was Derrick Lovingood.
    Interment was in Valleytown Cemetery with military graveside rites provided by Murphy American Legion Post 96, Hayesville VFW Post 6812 and Hayesville American Legion Post 532, and Masonic rites provided by Andrews Masonic Lodge No. 529.  
    The family received friends from noon-1:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, prior to the service.
    In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Andrews Masonic Lodge No. 529, P.O. Box 1531, Andrews, NC 28901.
    Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews, was in charge of all arrangements.
