William Kyle Cunningham, 63, of Andrews, passed away Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021.
He was the son of C.B. Cunningham and Ima Jean Medford.
William was a telephone contractor supervisor.
He was also a church superintendent, deacon and trustee at Pisgah Baptist Church. William loved the Lord very much.
He also loved to fish, hunt, camp and spend time with his family, especially his wife of 35 years, his sons, granddaughters and his church family.
William is survived by his wife, Shirley Burris Cunningham; sons, Ryan Cunningham (Christina) and Isaac Cunningham; sister, Kay Stevens; grandchildren, Hayden Cunningham, Ava Grace Cunningham, Brooklyn Cunningham and Rylan Cunningham; and nephews and nieces, Eric Jordan, Matthew Jordan, Kevin Jordan and Misty White.
A funeral service was held at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. Pastor Jerry Tatham officiated. Music was conducted by Pisgah Baptist Church singers.
Burial was in Moss Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lennie Cutshaw, Dane Rickett, Bobby Hedden, Joe Huskins, Jeff Tatham, David Burchfield, Dakota Gibby and Gary Chambers. Honorary pallbearers were Ray Smith, Gerald Hedden, Michael Carpenter, Wade McConnell and Johnny Kernea.
The family received friends from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
