Wendell (Worm) Wooten, 51, of Andrews, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022.
He was the son of the late Oliver and Allie Jones Wooten.
Wendell worked at Snap-on Tools. He loved to hunt and fish, the outdoors and to cook.
Wendell was a member of McCleland Cove Baptist Church in Andrews.
Surviving are a sister, Robin Reynolds and husband Tom; a niece, Keisha Borden and husband Sean; nephews, Colton Newton and wife Monika, and Cory Carringer; great-niece, Paisley Borden; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and multiple family members and friends that he loved.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews with Pastors Mickey Stewart and Jeremiah Wike officiating. Interment was in Valleytown Cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert Fulford, James (Tiger) McClean, Tracy (Wolf) Hardin, Jimmy Messer, Adam Cross and Whitney Burnette. Honorary pallbearers were Tim Hardin and Johnny Coleman.
The family received friends from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, prior to the services at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Andrews, was in charge of arrangements.
