    Victor Ned “Tor” Zeigler, 61, of Tanglewood Forest, Murphy, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021, at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville.
    Tor was born Sept. 1, 1959, in Harrisburg, Pa., and was raised in Dauphin, Pa. He was the son of George Francis Zeigler Jr. and the late Celesta Jean Zeigler.
    Tor attended the Central Dauphin district schools and then joined the Marines. He was a jet engine mechanic. He did extreme cold weather training in Korea and Naval Air maintenance, hydraulic maintenance and corrosion control in Iwakuni, Japan.
    After the Marines, he returned to Dauphin and worked for Meals Towing and Bud’s Automotive in Harrisburg, Pa.
    He moved to Murphy in 2004 and was employed by Jacky Jones for the past 16 years. He was an ASE Certified Master Mechanic and a member of the NRA.
    He enjoyed the outdoors and especially fishing, gardening and auto racing. He was a kind loving man who would help any one who asked but he was also Marine tough.
    He will be sadly missed by his longtime companion, Gayle, and his furry, four footed kids Norton, Tippitoo and Fluffy.

    Burial will be at Indiantown Gap Military Reservation Cemetery in Pennsylvania with military honors at a date to be announced.
