Tiffany Lynn Purser passed away Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, after an extended illness, at the age of 47.
She was born to Nancy and Floyd Purser on Jan. 31, 1974, and was the youngest of two children.
Tiffany loved art and excelled in oil painting, but her passion was pottery. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in art at University of North Carolina in Asheville, she was an apprentice for other artists in the River Arts District at Asheville,  including Michael Orr’s Studio and Cravens. Her specialty was hand-built porcelain, and she later opened her own studio in Warrensville, N.C., naming it after her grandmother, “Geneva’s Studio.”
Surviving, in addition to her parents, Floyd and Nancy Purser, is a brother Marvin Kent.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Rosemary and Gene Crooke; paternal grandparents, Geneva and Alder Purser; an aunt, Violet Coffey Carpenter; and an uncle, Jerry Franklin Purser.
Tiffany was employed by Delta at the Asheville Regional Airport at the onset of her illness.
Her parents offer a special thanks to her Aunt Melanie Pugh for all her medical assistance, and a special thanks to Nancy’s sisters, Floyd’s family, and their many friends for their continued support.
The family will have a private memorial at the gravesite.
Tiffany was a talented young lady who brought to all around her a smile. “Don’t weep for me she would have said, my life was not in vain. For I have lived, and I have loved, and I will see you once again.”
