Susan Florence Brockmann, 66, of Murphy, passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020, in a Chattanooga, Tenn., hospital.
She was a native of High Point and lived in Greensboro before moving to her home in the mountains of Murphy in 2013, which she loved.
Susan worked as a bartender throughout her life. She enjoyed being outside, and had a deep love for her dogs and all animals in general. She loved the waterfalls, rivers and creeks this area provides.
Susan loved life and lived life to its fullest. She has left a huge hole in our hearts and lives.
She was the daughter of the late Bill and Doty Coleman.
Surviving are her loving husband, Lee Brockmann; a sister, Nancy Melton; two brothers, Billy and Tim Coleman; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved four cats and two dogs.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, is in charge of arrangements.
