    Rozella Graves, 83, of Murphy, passed away Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021, after an extended illness.
    She was born March 29, 1938, in Unaka to the late Bonnie and Olen Curtis. Rozella was a native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County, and a lifelong member of Unaka Baptist Church.
    Surviving are her devoted husband of 65 years, Jack Graves; and son, Gene Graves and wife Jenny of Lawrenceville, Ga.; granddaughter, Sandi Barton (Matthew) of Murphy; grandsons, Tyler Graves (Hannah) of Athens, Ga., Matthew Graves of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Curtis Graves of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Noah Herrin of Murphy; her beloved brothers, M.G. Curtis, J.B. Curtis (Marlene) and Marvin Curtis (Mary Ruth); and several nephews.
    Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Aud Brown will officiate. Pallbearers were Rick Curtis, Kevin Curtis, Tony Curtis, Randy Curtis, Cale Curtis and Shane Curtis.
