    Ronald Cleveland Patterson, 78, of Marble, went home with the Lord on Saturday, July 9, 2022.
    He was born Sept. 7, 1943, in Graham County.
    Ronald was involved in ministry for the past 30 years and touched many lives.
    He was the owner/operator of Patterson Tire, and also had a repair shop for CBs and radios.
    Ronald was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and camp.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Ellen Smith Patterson; and two brothers, Edward and Richard Patterson.
    He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joyce Patterson; and three children: Mark Patterson, Max (Judy) Patterson and Karen (Michael) Phillips. He enjoyed each of his six grandchildren: Dana (Nathan) Hack, Jonathan Rowland, Jasmine Patterson, Becky (Phil) Houston, Coley (Tim) Bartholomew and Lance Phillips. He was blessed with two great-grandchildren: Abigale Hack and Tiana Bartholomew; one brother, James Patterson; and three sisters, Elizabeth McDonald, Virginia McClure and Velma Brown.
    The family received friends from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at the Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. Pastor Harold Stiles, and the Revs. Steve Sneed, Lance Phillips and Fred Lunsford officiated. Music was provided by George VanBuskirk.
    Burial was in the Carver Cemetery in Robbinsville. Pallbearers were Tommy Moss, Lonnie Stewart, Mark Golden, Jonathan Rowland, Scott Caylor and Robert Debty. Honorary pallbearers were Marvin Guffey, Francis Cook and Larry Allen.
    Ronald encouraged family and friends to walk closely with the Lord.
