Ronald Sherrill Heltzel, 60, of Murphy, passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022.
Ronald was born March 23, 1961, in Murphy to Fred Johnson and the late Kathleen Heltzel.
He was a delivery driver for Heilig-Meyers and Lowes. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing.
He is survived by two sons; Zach Heltzel and wife Jordan, and Chad Heltzel and wife Brittany; a sister, Pam Heltzel; and four grandchildren: Kelcie, Axton, Sutton and Saylor.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy with the Rev. Doug Howard officiating. Pallbearers were Willie Stewart, Tracey Howard, Logan Clonts, Johnny Sutton, Scott Sutton and Nathan Harbin.
The family received friends from noon-2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
