    Robert Paul Ware, 62, of Murphy, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
    He as born in Cherokee County to the late Lake and Edna Dye Ware.
    He was co-owner of Pearce Farm and had worked for Ware Contracting.
    Robert was loved by everyone that met him, and he loved everyone, especially his family. He loved NASCAR, horseback riding, camping and playing with his four-legged babies. Robert had many talents, including building and caregiving.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Colon Ware and Bud Ware; and sisters, Polly Crowder and Ruth White.
    Surviving are his wife, Deb Ware; stepsons, Shawn Key, Paul Byers and Daniel Taylor; a great nephew who was like a son, Jeffery Kimbrell; a stepdaughter, Hope Taylor; brothers, Dean Ware and wife Becky, and Ronald Ware and wife, Juanita; sisters, Catherine Wiggins, Janice Johnson, Diane Griffith and husband Merle, Debbie Hughes and husband Manson and Sherry Burrell and husband Dennis; step grandchildren, Ben Key, Mason Key, Hunter Graves, Kristen Graves, Allie Davis, and Dakota Key; his special four-legged children, Nellie, Cookie, Elizabeth, Dolly, Charlie and Domino; several nieces and great nieces; and several great-nephews.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 8, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy, with the Revs. Steve Ware, Josh Ledford and Harold Crowder officiating. Interment was in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeffery Kimbrell, Randall Kimbrell, Brian Hogan, James Hughes, Kyle Wiggins and Chris Monkus. Honorary pallbearers were Harold Crowder, Ray Ware, Randy Wiggins, Doug Ware, Christopher Hughes, Brandon Hughes, Noel Buchanan, Christopher Payne, Jonathan Crowder, William Patterson, Gary Patterson, Paul Byars, Shawn Key, Daniel Taylor and Dennis Patterson.
    The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy.
