Rheuban Jackson
Rheuban Keontae Jackson, 26, of Murphy, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022.
Rheuban was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Aleeta D. Bockhahn of Kentucky and formerly of Murphy and the late Kenneth Scott Ollivant.
He had worked at MOOG in component manufacturing.
Before residing in Murphy for the past seven years, Rheuban had lived in Indian Head, Md.
He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, where Rheuban loved worshipping the Lord through singing.
He was recognized by IOI for “overcoming barriers in employment.”
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Bryan J. Jackson; and brothers, Adian Quentin Tuggle and Scott Ollivant.
Rheuban is survived by his father, Gayland Bockhahn; mother, Aleeta Bockhahn; brothers, Julian Kye Tuggle, Tyson Bockhahn and Koby Bockhahn; sisters, Anastazsa Turner, Annika Bockhahn and McKenzie Thorson; aunts, Cynthia Clavon, Denise Morris (Blount) and Brenda Blount; uncles, Edward Blount, Spencer Blount, Herbert Arrington and Charles Clavon; grandparentsm Eurial and Thelena Turner; and special cousins, Tiffany Ryals, Jamar Johnson, Jerran Johnson, Victoria Johnson and Zula Cox.
A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. The Rev. Eurial Turner officiated.
