    The Rev. Warren Hall, 80, of Brasstown, passed away Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at his residence after an extended illness.
    Born April 9, 1941, to the late Everette Loyal and Lula Clarice Carringer Hall.
    Mr. Hall had pastored several local churches. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Cook; two brothers, Andrew Judson “Judd” Hall and John L. Hall; and a brother-in-law, Robert Cook.
    He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy Farner Hall; a daughter, Shelly Morgan and husband Paul of Warne; a brother, Edward Hall of Brasstown; a sister, Anne Brown and husband Bill of Decatur, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy, with the Revs. Tony Gilbert and Dallas Crowder officiating and graveside services being conducted by the Rev. Brian Davenport. Pallbearers will be David and Dwayne Hall, Everett, Clint and Matt Cook, and Glen Matheson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Matheson, Austin Davenport and Marion Morgan.
    The family will receive friends from 10-11:45 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy.
    In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Gloria Swanson, 3264 Qualla Road, Hayesville, NC 28904.
