The Rev. Dean Hall, 80, of Murphy, passed away, Saturday, May 16, 2020.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County and the son of the late Ralph and Edith Lovingood Hall.
Dean was a retired logger.
In his younger years, he enjoyed bear hunting and fishing.
Dean was a kind man and enjoyed spending time with family.
In addition to his parents,
he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn; and two brothers, Marvin Hall and Junior Carroll.
He is survived by one daughter, Cindy Wilson and husband Ronnie; two brothers, Bill and Robert Hall; one sister, Helen Dockery; and one granddaughter, Sara Wilson.
A private service will be held with Dr. Eddis Dockery officiating. Burial will be in Grape Creek Baptist
Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John and Kyle Hall, Nathan Sneed, and David, Kendrick and Dillon McDonald.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of the Rev. Dean Hall to the Grape Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 182, Murphy, NC 28906.
