    Ray Edwin Radford, 88, of Andrews, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021.
    He was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, and the son of the late Kellis and Veanah Robinson Radford.
    Ray retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He enjoyed golf, reading, working in his yard and garden.
    Ray was a member of Valleytown Baptist Church.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ruth Hyde.
    He is survived by his wife, Regina Raxter Radford; one son, Eddie Radford and wife Tammy of Cleveland, Tenn.; one grandson, Justin Radford; and two great-granddaughters, Maddie and Lyleigh Radford.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. The Revs. Eric Byrd and Chris Rumfelt officiated. Burial was in Valley River Baptist Church cemetery with military graveside rites being conducted by Robins Air Force Base Honor Guard. Pallbearers were Justin Radford, Chase Patterson, Caleb English, Tony Hyde, Bobby Owenby and Jordan Raxter.
    The family received friends from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
    Masks were optional for visitation and funeral.
    Townson-Rose Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
