Nell Anderson

   Nell Imogene Hyatt Anderson, 89, of Murphy, passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022.
   She was born on March 17, 1932, at home in Culberson, N.C., to the late Guy Herman ad Willie Marie Owenby Hyatt.
   She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and sister.
   Nell had worked as a cafeteria manager with Coventry Township School System in Portage Lakes, Ohio, until she retired in 1992.
   Nell and her husband, Fred, moved back to Culberson in 1993. She was a member of Acron Baptist Temple.
   Nell was survived by sons, Warren (Tammy), Steve (Judy), and Ron Anderson; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Dale Hyatt; and two sisters, Melba Hyatt Collins and Annette Hyatt Downer.
   Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022, at Friendship Baptist Church No. 2.
   The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, at Friendship Baptist Church prior to the services.
   The family requests memorials be made in memory of Nell Imogene Hyatt Anderson to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas PL, Memphis, TN 38105.
