    Nancy Sue Hartman Madden, 63, of Marble, born in Springfield, Mass., to the late Robert P. Hartman and Bonnie Louise Haney Hartman, surrounded by her loving sisters on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, crossed over the Jordan River to meet Jesus and her loved ones gone ahead after a long battle with cancer.
    Nancy lived life simple but to the fullest. She was most recently employed as a home health aide. She also worked as a machinist at local factories in the past. She found good in everything and everyone. Nancy had a great passion for music and books and loved her family more than anything.
    Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Hartman; and nephew, James Hartman.
    She leaves her loving son, Thomas Raxter of Marble; daughter, Sara Raxter Allen; and son-in-law, Scott Allen of Andrews; two grandchildren, Jazlin Raxter and Isaiah Allen, both of Andrews; her brother, David Hartman and wife Barbara of Port Charlotte, Fla.; sisters, Faye Parker and husband Dane of Andrews, Donna Kubik and husband Bob of Deltona, Fla., Liz Thurber and John Maloney of Albany, N.Y., Janet Everett and husband Robert of Murphy, Ruth Velthouse and husband David of Ludlow, Mass., and Laurie Molnar and husband Sandor of Simpsonville, S.C.; sister-in-law, Loreen Hartman of Ludlow; many nieces and nephews, cousins and  friends who loved her dearly.
    Nancy chose to have her body donated to Elon University Anatomical Gift program in Raleigh.
