Mary Frances Stewart Truett, 91, of Andrews, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022.
Mary was born in Cherokee County to the late Posey and Hettie Wiggins Stewart.
She was an egg grader at Parker and Reichman. She loved gardening, canning and gospel music. She was a member of the Church of God of Andrews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Gilbert Hall; her second husband, James Truett; her sisters, Inez Watkins and Doris Nichols; and grandson, Barry Ross Cable.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Shirley Hardin and Linda Burris; sisters, Ollie Mae Crawford, Ruby Panther and Helen Neal; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, at New Life Church of God. The Rev. Fred Delili officiated. Burial was in Valleytown Cemetery. Pallbearers were Clint Cable, Joe Moses, Jarrod Moses, James Carl Cable, Dale Simmonds and Jerry Cable.
The family received friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
