Mary Lou Rich, 69, of Andrews, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, and the daughter of the late Jess Pendergrass Sr. and Blanche Pendergrass.
Mary worked in retail sales.
She was a member of New Life Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jess Pendergrass Jr.; and one sister, Vestal Ellison.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Joe Rich Jr.; two sons, Roy Lee Rich and wife Alice of Murphy, and Jimmy Joe Rich and wife Danielle of the Nantahala community; one sister, Barbara McClure; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Pastor Fred Delili officiated.
