    Mary Louise Pugh, 76, of Andrews, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020, at Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital in Murphy.
    She was the daughter of the late Donald and Birdie West Hughes.
    Mary had her associate’s degree in computers and was a seamstress at Levi’s for 22 years before retiring.
    She was a member of Valley River Baptist Church and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
    Traveling with her sisters brought her much joy, and memories will last for many years.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Edwin Pugh; brothers, Grady, Dee, Guy, Jack and Bill Hughes; and sisters, Gladys McGaha and Joyce Ramsey.
    Surviving are her two sons, Lance Pugh and wife Melanie, and Donnie Pugh; two daughters, Paula Pugh and Veronica “Smokey” Dooly and husband Mack; two brothers, Johnny and Howard Hughes; three sisters, Bonnie Keasler and husband Billy, Jo Ann Anderson and Stella Adams; four grandchildren, Katherine Jones, James and Scott Pugh and Kylei Holloway; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held at 6 p.m. Monday, June 8, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. The Rev. Bo Phillips officiated. Burial was in Valley River Cemetery in Andrews.
    The family received friends from 4-6 p.m. Monday, June 8, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
