Mary Ruth Clark, 87, of Andrews, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021.
Mary was born Aug. 27, 1933, in Cherokee County to the late Roy and Margaret Smith Flowers.
She had worked for Berkshire, Lee’s and Owenby’s.
Mary enjoyed fishing and taking care of others.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her spouses; brothers, Dan Flowers and Carol Dean Flowers; and sisters, June Earwood, Reba Cable and Sara Gladden.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Margaret Holder and husband Junior, Bonita Allison, and Denese Goins and husband Randy; brothers, Don Flowers and Oliver Flowers and wife Gerta; six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. Noah Williams and Chad Anderson will officiate. Music will be conducted by the Hayes Brothers and Margaret Holder. Burial will be in Valleytown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Earwood, David Earwood, Edwin Flowers, Larry Flowers, Brian Flowers, Tony Pendergrass, Randy Cable, Earnest Cable and Kelly Flowers.
The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
