Luther “L.N. Luke” Garrett, 71, of Andrews, passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019, at Valley View Care Center.
Mr. Garrett was born June 28, 1948, in Hayesville to the late George Washington Garrett and Carrie Estella Wilkins Garrett.
He was a member of Murphy First Baptist Church, and his favorite pastime was walking.
Survivors include sisters, Elizabeth Garrett and Ethel Jones; and nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, Murphy, with Pastors Jimmy Tanner and Aud Brown officiating. Music was provided by Aud and Becky Brown. Interment followed in Green Lawn Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy.
