Linda Sue Holloway, 73, of Andrews, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022, in a Asheville hospital, with her loving niece, Annette Allen, by her side.
She was a native and lifetime resident of Andrews. Linda enjoyed shopping and shoes. She took a huge part in raising her many nieces and nephews, she was a member of Red Marble Baptist Church and loved the Lord. Linda was one of God’s angels here on earth.
She was the daughter of the late Jack G. and Connie Mae Evans Holloway. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded by three brothers, Sam, Dan and James Holloway.
Surviving are one sister, Betty Ledford of Andrews; two brothers, Jack Holloway of Robbinsville, and Ricky Holloway of Andrews. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews and her little dog, Raven.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at Red Marble Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mickey Stewart officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were John Allen, Darrell Holloway, James Holloway, Evan Neal, Ethan Neal and Sammy Holloway. Honorary pallbearer was Macon Allen.
The family received friends from noon-1:45 p.m. Thursday at Red Marble Baptist Church.
