    Linda Allen Conley, 74, of High Point and formerly of Andrews, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022.
    Born April 6, 1947, in Asheville to the late Clarence and Virginia Mae Allen, Linda grew up in Asheville and graduated from Clyde A. Erwin High School in 1965.
    She worked for 24 years in the business office at C.J. Harris Community Hospital in Sylva, then was employed as the front end manager at Ingle’s grocery store in Murphy and then also in Andrews until she retired.
    Linda and husband Richard were long time members of First Baptist Church in Andrews.
    Linda is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Richard Conley Jr.; daughter, Missy (Chuck) Boyles; sons Richard “Dicky” (Jessica) Conley and Bobby Joe Conley; grandsons, Ben Hinson and Wesley Boyles; granddaughters, Abby Hinson, Jayne Hinson, Sarah Boyles, Chandler (Tyler) Evans, Ella (Grayson) Bibee, Averi Conley, Taylor Webb and Reagan Webb; sisters, Barbara (Rex) Ingle, Mary (Jerry) Roper-Witt and Darlene (Donnie) Pressley; and her fur-baby, Buster.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Larry Allen and Mark Allen; and sister, Gloria Gill.
    The family will receive friends at noon Saturday, April 2, at First Baptist Church, 1606 Business 19, Andrews. A Celebration of Life service will be held there immediately following at 1 p.m. The family requests that attendees participate in the service by sharing special memories of Linda. Linda was a loving and selfless wife, mother, “Granny,” sister, friend, coworker and mentor to many and they would be grateful for the congregation to help honor and celebrate her life.
