    Linda Kaye Loudermilk Cheek, 74, of Murphy, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, at her home.
    She was born in the Wehutty community on Sept. 18, 1945, to the late Clint Edward Loudermilk and Elsie Boring Loudermilk.
    She was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church and had been attending Ranger Baptist Church.
    She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Clay Loudermilk, Max Loudermilk, Clifford Loudermilk, Jenny Wilcox, Carol Cheek and Jim Loudermilk.
    She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Larry William Cheek; sons and daughters-in-law, Derek and Alissa Cheek of Murphy and Doug and Cheryl Cheek of Mineral Bluff, Ga.; grandchildren, Breanna (Chase) Locke, Ryan Cheek (Whitley Reece), Bryson Cheek and Todd (Nikki) Cheek; great-grandson, Anderson Cheek; siblings, Benny Loudermilk of Wehutty, Wayne Loudermilk of Warner Robins, Ga., Mitchell Loudermilk of Wehutty, and Jo Hoover of Holly Springs, Ga.; and many other family and friends also survive.
    Graveside services were conducted at noon Saturday, Oct. 5, from Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Doug Howard and Jimmy Hogsed officiating. Pallbearers were Ryan Cheek, Todd Cheek, Chase Locke, Russell Loudermilk, Marc Loudermilk and Dustin Cheek. Honorary pallbearers were all of Linda’s nephews and great-nephews.
