Lily Nell Payne Sims, 73, of Andrews, passed away Friday, Aug. 19, 2022.
Lily was born in Blairsville, Ga., to the late Milas and Odena Morgan Luther. She was a textile inspector.
She is survived by her husband, Russell Sims; her daughter, Amy Sims Mashburn; her brothers, Leroy Payne, Charles Payne, Thurman Luther Jr. and wife Cindy, and Kelly Luther and wife Tracie; her sister, LeAnne Luther and husband Wally; two grandchildren, Hunter Mashburn and Morgan Mashburn; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at noon Thursday, Aug. 25, at Valleytown Cemetery. Pastor Tully Griggs will officiate. Pallbearers will be Justin Luther, Kevin Luther, Tyler Luther, Zach Luther, Colton Luther and Hunter Mashburn.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Townson-Rose Chapel of Andrews with the funeral service immediately following. Pastor Tully Griggs will officiate.
