Layla Verner, 29, of Murphy, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Aug. 26, 2022.
She was a homemaker and a loving hands-on mother to her daughter, Nala, who was the apple of her eye.
Layla was an avid animal lover, insect and reptile lover (creatures of any kind). Layla was very compassionate and loyal to her family and friends.
Layla was preceded in death by her grandpa, Billy Verner; great-grandfather, Junior Holbrooks; great-aunt, Ann Hobrooks, great-uncle, Paul Robinson, great-aunt, Mickey Lefevers; mother-in-law, Wanda Helton Anderson; grandfather-in-law, Edward Helton; step grandfather, Joe Deaver; and cousin, Tashina Welch.
Surviving are her daughter, Nala Miracle Anderson; soulmate and life partner, Wade Anderson; mother, Vera Verner; grandmother, Patsy Deaver; great-grandmother, Thelma Forrester; and lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
