    Kenneth James Teague, affectionately known as “Doc,” went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 1, 2021. He was a Murphy native born March 17, 1941.
    Kenneth would have been 80 years old this coming St. Patrick’s Day. He was one of six Teague boys and also had two sisters.
    Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Forest Lee and Della Teague; four brothers, Jerry, Wade, F.J. and Bobby Teague; and two sisters, Mary Lee and Billy Jean.
    He is survived by a brother, Harold Teague; a cousin, Dorothy Tipton; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
    He loved the Lord and was a new creation in Christ. Kenneth loved the outdoors, fishing, animals and especially his little dog, Taz.
    His celebration of life service was at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at MountainView Church, 169 Smith Hollow Road in Murphy. The Revs. Jim Topping and Bob Rover officiated.
