August 15, 1929 – March 24, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Kathleen Peek Davis, on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, in Medford, Ore.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde Baxter Davis; parents, Bartley Robert and Cora Voyles Stiles Peek; and son, Ronnie Colen Radford.
Left to cherish her memory are son, Jim and (Linda) Radford; daughter, Evon and (Dan) Carballo; grandchildren, Jeff and (Tiko) Radford, Andrea Radford, Shawn and (Brandy) Radford; great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Matthew, Dillon and Nicholas.
Kathleen was born and raised in Murphy. After graduating high school she moved to find work in the Cotton Mills around Charlotte, where she remained for several years, and later moved to California.
As a resident of the Bay Area, she was proud to have been employed by Sears Roebuck & Co. as a sales clerk and department manager for over 37 years, where she achieved the Top Sales Person award for the Western Territory multiple times, the Sears Outstanding Service award and an Executive Sales award.
Throughout her life she relied on her Christian faith and taught Sunday school.
After retirement she enjoyed traveling and many other activities with bingo and the annual family beach vacations as her favorites.
Then with the family she made her final journey to relocate in Medford, Ore.
She was loved and will forever be in our hearts.
In loving memory, she will be laid to rest in her native state of North Carolina at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
There will be no services at this time.
