Junior Frady

    Junior Howard Frady, 90, of Murphy, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022, peacefully at his home.
    Junior was born in Polk County, Tenn., to the late Homer and Ocie White Frady.
    He had worked for a warehouse distributing steel. Junior loved hunting, fishing, laying on the couch watching old westerns and sitting on the porch with his dog, Tweeter.
    He was of the Baptist faith. Junior was a United States Army veteran.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Frady, and six brothers and four sisters.
    Junior is survived by his sons, Michael Dale Frady, Jeffery Howard Frady and wife Cori, and Anthony Wayne Frady; his daughters, Debbie Jean Helton and husband Harold, Teresa Diane Coffey and Jennifer Ann Bryant; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
    A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 6, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. The Revs. Allen Harris and Kenny Korn officiated. Burial was in Ledford Cemetery in Murphy.     
    Pallbearers were Jamie and Tyler Helton, Brian and Aaron Coffey, Zac Frady and Randy Curtis. Honorary pallbearers were Jared Frady and R.L. Howard.
    The family received friends from noon-2 p.m. Monday afternoon prior to the funeral service at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
    Townson-Rose Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
