Jeremiah Mark Edwards, 43, of Murphy passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021.
He was a native and lifetime resident of Murphy. He attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
Jeremiah worked as an assistant golf pro in the Pinehurst area. He had been an avid golfer from a young age.
He had a tremendous love for anything outdoors. Jeremiah enjoyed hunting wild game with his grandfather, father and friends as well as being a gifted trout fisherman. He also enjoyed riding dirt bikes and off-roading. Jeremiah was a talented self-taught guitarist.
He was the son of Mark Anthony Edwards of Murphy and the late Pam Wiggins. He was the grandson of the late Herman and Wanda Edwards and Winston and LaVean Wiggins.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are a daughter, Kaitlyn Edwards and fiance Alex Roberts of Murphy; a brother, Chris White of Loveland, Colo.; a grandson, Brooks Dwayne Roberts; and several aunts and uncles.
A private Celebration of Life was held Saturday, April 10. The inurnment took place at Sunset Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Jeremiah Mark Edwards to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 164, Murphy, NC 28906.
Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, was in charge of arrangements.
