Jennie Lambert
Jennie Mae Lambert, 60, of Andrews, passed away Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, in a South Carolina medical facility.
She was born July 29, 1961, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Delmar and Katherine Blanchard Tipton.
She was a loving wife and mother. Jeannie enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Seabolt, and her husband, Larry.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Glenn Lambert Sr., of Andrews; one daughter, Katrina Elaine Sutton and husband Paul, also of Andrews; three sons, Jason Scott Owenby and wife Wanda of Nantahala, Glenn Dale Lambert Jr. of Andrews, and Raymond George Lambert and wife Kimberly of Cottageville, S.C.; one sister, Sandy Nicholson and husband Nicky of Hiawassee, Ga.; two brothers, Willie Tipton and wife Bun and Jacob Davis and wife Melinda all of Blue Ridge, Ga.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her best friend, Hazel “Candy” Cable of Hayesville, and an aunt, Jennie Bell Kirk of Toledo, Ohio.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, at Valleytown Cemetery in Andrews, with the Rev. Darrell Dockery officiating. Pallbearers were Scott Selby, Shon Cearley, Michael Lovingood, Brian Lovingood, Glen Dennison, William Lambert and Michael Lambert.
Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews, was in charge of arrangements.
