Janet Diane Morgan Carpenter, 66, of Andrews, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022.
Janet was born in Blue Ridge, Ga., to the late Howard and Dorothy Morgan. She was a pharmacy technician.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jade “Mike” Carpenter, and her brother, Frank Morgan.
She is survived by her son, Michael Scott Carpenter and wife Angel; her daughters, Roxanne Reeder and husband John, and Jada Garmon and husband Shaun; a brother, Ricky Morgan and wife Diane; her sisters, Betty Stanley and husband David, and Barbara Rhodes and husband Jackie; and several grandchildren.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews. The Rev. Jim Postell officiated. Burial was in Red Marble Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jody Cantrell, Chandler Cantrell, Blaine Hooper, Blake Carpenter, Ronald Wilknis and Steven Wilkins.
The family received friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the funeral service at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy, was in charge of all arrangements.
