Jane Sneed Colvard, 92, of East Ridge, Tenn., and formerly of Murphy, passed away Friday, Sept. 16, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Neil Sneed of Murphy.
Survivors include Dan and Kathy Colvard of Cary, N.C., and David Colvard of Chattanooga, Tenn.; grandchildren, Sara Beland, Matthew Colvard, Danielle Colvard and Nick Colvard; and great-grandson, Rowan Beland.
Jane worked at Southern Bell Telephone Company in Murphy. Then she transferred to Chattanooga, Tenn., in the early 1950s. She later worked for the city of Chattanooga with family services.
She was a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church in East Ridge, Tenn. She also volunteered at Memorial Hospital for five years.
She never lost her love for her hometown of Murphy, where she will be laid to rest in Sunset Cemetery, Murphy, at a later date.
