Jade Michael Carpenter, 66, of Andrews, passed away Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, in Union General Hospital, Blairsville, Ga.
He was born in Cherokee County to the late J.L. “Jade” and Faith Nelson Carpenter.
Jade loved riding motorcycles, fishing and camping.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Rickey Carpenter.
Surviving are his wife, Janet Morgan Carpenter; a son, Michael Carpenter and his wife, Angel; two daughters, Jada Garmon and husband Shaun, and Roxanne Reeder and husband, John; a sister, Robin Mull; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews with the Rev. Jim Postell officiating. Interment was in Red Marble Cemetery. Pallbearers were Blaine Hooper, Jody Cantrell, Ricky Morgan, Carroll Roper, Anthony Herrera and Ronald Wilkins.
The family received friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Townson-Rose Chapel in Andrews prior to the services.
Townson-Rose Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
