    Jack Molder, 81, of Marble, passed away Friday, Feb. 4, 2022.
    Jack was born Feb. 8, 1940, in Kansas City, Kans., to the late Oscar and Myrtle Molder.
    He spent 29 years in the United States Navy and obtained the rank of CWO4.
    Jack had a love for country and bluegrass music. He was a member of several local bluegrass bands, including Wolf Creek Bluegrass Band of Copperhill, Tenn.
    In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Stanton and Alene Gruber.
    Jack is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Carolyn; his sons, Harry Molder and wife Erin, and Michael Molder and wife Susan; a daughter, Theresa Skipper and husband Ken; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jeanne Baker and Janice Burns.
    A Celebration of Life was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Little Brasstown Baptist Church with the Rev. Aud Brown officiating.
    Interment will be at a later date in Tallahassee National Cemetery in Tallahassee, Fla. Pallbearers will be David Anderson, Fern La Chance, Robert Caldwell, George VanBuskirk, Kenny Hall and Lamar Chastain.
    In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in loving memory of Jack Molder to the Little Brasstown Baptist Church Christmas Love Project, 6120 Harshaw Road, Brasstown, NC 28902.
