Glenn Andrew Masone, 60, of Murphy, passed away Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at his home.
Glenn was born June 13, 1962, in Flushing, N.Y., to Daniel and Lois Masone.
Coming from Bradenton, Fla., he had made Murphy his home for the past 18 years.
Glenn was a master carpenter and a general contractor owning Glenn Masone Home Improvements. He enjoyed being near the water, boating, fishing and hiking. He liked listening to Classic Rock & Roll and Christian music. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for family, friends and church events, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene Masone; father, Daniel Masone; mother, Lois Stiepel Masone; brother, Don Masone; sisters-in-law, Ellen Larario (husband Joe) and Linda Lamb of Florida; brother-in-law, Edward J. Stevens of Colorado; aunts, Marjorie Diamond and Lynn Kelly (husband Larry) from New York; Viola Rauchbauer of Florida; cousin, Susan Cinquenani of Florida; nieces, Lisa Siegel (husband Cori Sr.), Katie Lamb and Jaci Lamb of Florida; Michelle Page (husband Mike) of Texas; Sydney Stevens of Colorado; Deana Fellows of New York, great-nieces, Joyce Siegel of Florida, Ellie Page of Texas; and great-nephew, Cori Siegel Jr.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, from Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Shep Calhoun officiating.
The family will receive friends from noon until the service hour on Saturday, Oct. 8, at Cochran Funeral Home, Murphy.
