Eureka Helen Ledford, 90, of Murphy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
She was a faithful member of Mount Liberty Baptist Church and was a devout reader of the Bible. Eureka was the oldest member of the church.

Eureka was a great seamstress and made many outfits for her daughters and great-granddaughters. She had a green thumb and could grow bushes and trees from small cuttings. Eureka enjoyed working in her yard; mowing and trimming bushes.
Her real enjoyment was her family. They were the light of her life. Every moment of her life she loved her family and prayed for their safety and good health. Eureka treasured every visit from her family and friends. She looked forward to the next time of getting together.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse Lee Ledford; four brothers, Ray, Troy and wife Loreta, Gordon and J.L. Stiles; and one sister, Leota Stiles.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Stone (David) of Gloucester, Va., and Pamela Sandidge (Terry) of Acworth, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Coleece Posey Cochran (Bryson), Mandy, Thomas, Robert, Patrick, Jillian Landeen (Kirk), Misty Gravley (Jamie) and Jessica Harrison (Sean); three great-granddaughters, Diamond, Cameron and Brynn; five great-grandsons, Bailey, Brody, Kadin, Talen and Colton; two sisters-in-law, Deanie Stiles and Sue Newton; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and one sister, Eulala Cook.
