    Edna Rogers McClure, 94, of Marble, passed away Sunday, Aug. 8, 2021, at her residence, surrounded by family.
    She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, and a member of Tomotla Methodist Church for over 50 years.
    She was a licensed beautician and had worked locally at Owenby’s manufacturing.
    Edna had spent most of her life helping her husband, Ted, in his woodworking business. They attended many craft fairs and managed the business together.
    Edna was a loving homemaker to her husband, and welcomed friends and neighbors into her home throughout her life. She was a kind, generous and caring woman.
    Edna was the daughter of the late Arvil and Maggie Arrowood Rogers, and wife of the late Bascom V. “Ted” McClure, who died Sept. 22, 1992. She was the last surviving of nine siblings.
    She is survived by three sons, Gary McClure and wife Bonnie of Marble, Denny McClure and wife Melissa of Murphy, and Kenneth McClure and wife Bebie of Marble. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, Aug. 12, at Tomotla Methodist Church, with the Rev. Tim Lee officiating. The church requests that those who attend wear a mask while inside.
    Pallbearers will be Dustin McClure, John McClure, Kyle McClure, Tyler McClure, Roy Rogers and Brian Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Rogers and Danny Rogers.
Interment will be in the Tomotla Community Cemetery.
    The family will receive friends from 10-11:45 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 12, at Tomotla Methodist Church, prior to the service.
    Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy, is in charge of all arrangements.
