    Dorothy Sue Kisselburg Raper, 84, of Murphy, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021, at her home.
    Mrs. Raper was born January 14, 1937, in Culberson to the late Lloyd Luther Kisselburg and Agnes Black Kisselburg.
    She was a member of Household of Faith Baptist Church.
    Dorothy Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Her family and faith meant the world to her.
    She retired from Murphy High School as a cafeteria worker. Dorothy was an active member of Eastern Star and Culberson Community Club for many years.
    She enjoyed reading Scripture, listening to gospel music, and sharing her deep devotion to Jesus Christ with all who knew her.
    She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Pearly George Raper; her grandparents, Luther and Mattie Kisselburg who raised her; her father and stepmother, Lloyd and Evelyn Kisselburg; mother, Agnes Black; and brother-in-law, Steve Rainey.
    Survivors include daughters, Linda Fay (Richard) Mashburn and Frances (Michael) Spidare; sons, James (Scott Holtham) Raper, Michael (Tonya) Raper, Alan (Deborah) Raper and Earl (Ellen) Raper; sister, Mona Rainey; grandchildren, June (Van) Hensley, Keith (Rebecca), George (Becky), Preston (Holly) Mashburn and Sally (Kyle) Cody; grandchildren, Justin (Lindsey), Austin (Lauren), Preston, Autumn, Cade, Grace, Chris (Natalie), Sarah, Erin and Jonathan Raper and Cassie (David) Lindley; great-grandchildren, Colby, Dawson and Emma Hensley, Dixie (Aaron) Ingle, Darly (Tucker) Lynn, Daisy, Dozer, Ellie, and Luke, Presly, Beau Mashburn, Jacob, Levi and Malachi Cody, Madison and Jaxson Raper, Jeremiah (Amber) and Isaiah Jacobs, and Page Lindley; foster grandchildren, Lexis, Madison, Natalie, Kaylee and Karson King,
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 7, at Household of Faith Baptist Church with the Revs. Richard Mashburn and Keith Mashburn, and Preacher Preston Mashburn officiating. Interment followed in Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were George Mashburn, Christopher, Jonathan, Justin, Preston and Austin Raper. Honorary pallbearers were Colby and Dawson Hensley, Dozer Mashburn, Earl and Cade Raper.
    In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Gideons International.
    Arrangements were entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy.
