Deborah Ann Crowe, 72, of Murphy, passed away Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021.
She was born in Cherokee County to the late Andrew and Cherline Carringer Greene.
Deborah was a seamstress for Levi Strauss. She was also the owner/operator of two restaurants and two convenience stores.
Deborah was a member of Old Fashion Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Nathaniel Parrish.
Deborah is survived by her daughter, Selina Jones and husband Matt; sisters, Carolyn Morrow, Linda Morrow and Gail Baker; brother, Eddie Greene; grandchildren, Justin Parrish, Cody Allen, Erin Scurry and Caleb Allen; great-grandchildren, Alaina Scurry, Elsie Parrish and Finley Parrish; several nieces and nephews; and close family friends, Danny Allen and Joy Rose.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jim Morrow and pastor Hoyt Brown officiated. Singers were The Wilson Family.
The family received friends from noon-2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the family to help with expenses.
