    Dale “Banjo” Robinson, 54, of Murphy, passed away Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at his residence.
    He loved fishing, NASCAR, his family and playing with his kids.
    He had worked for Snap-on for 19 years as a machinist. Dale was a member of Wilscot Baptist Church and was of the Baptist faith.
    He was the son of the late Lloyd and Clara Waters Robinson. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie Robinson and Paul Robinson.
    Surviving are his wife of 23 years, April Robinson; a son, Rusty Bailey; five daughters, Ashley Jones (Davie), Brandy Dillard (Larry), Kaitlyn Robinson (Jeremy Mickens), Ciarra Roberts and Joycee Robinson; a brother, Jimmy Robinson; and eight grandchildren, Isaac, Christian, LJ, Noah, Aubrey, Brymlee, Brandon and Kinsley.
    Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy with the Rev. Billy Rhodes officiating. Interment was in Peachtree Community Cemetery. Pallbearers were Duke and Mike Scroggs, Chris Walker, Jeff and Kent Roberson, Justin Gaddis and Trevor Grant. Honorary pallbearers were Jeremy Mickens, Kelly Plemmons, Davie Jones, Larry Dillard and Stephen Dean.
    The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
