Charles Ray Ledford, 86, of Marietta, Ga., passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, with the Rev. Billy Hooper and Mitch Ledford officiating. Interment will follow
at 2 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Murphy.
A native of Cherokee County, Mr. Ledford was a veteran of the United States Army.
He retired after a long career in management with A&P Grocery Stores around the Atlanta and Cobb County areas.
He was a member of Community Baptist Church in Marietta.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Curtis Ledford.
Survivors include two children, Becky (Billy) Hooper, Marietta, Ga., and Mitch (Cindy) Ledford, Marietta, Ga.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the funeral home.
