Carrie Tuggle Grizzle, 87, of Murphy, passed away Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at her residence.
She was born May 20, 1934, in Buford, Ga., to the late Carl and Ara Dollar Tuggle.
Carrie was a homemaker, enjoyed traveling and shopping with her husband.
She was a member of Ranger Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Grizzle; and a brother, George Tuggle.
Surviving are a son, Mark Grizzle; a sister, Regina Marshall; a grandson, Corey Grizzle and his wife, Mandy; two great-grandchildren, Chloe Grizzle and Cameron Grizzle; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with L.B. Adams officiating.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy.
