    Carolyn Brown Rogers, 75, of Andrews, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, at her residence.
    She was a native and lifetime resident of Andrews. She had worked for Baker Furniture for 20 years.
    Carolyn was a member of the Valleytown Rural Fire Department Auxiliary and devoted much of her time to fundraising for the fire department and the rescue squad.
    She was a member of Valleytown Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and taught in Vacation Bible School. Carolyn also sang in a gospel trio out of Vengeance Creek Baptist Church. Carolyn enjoyed cooking, sewing and reading a good book.
    She was the daughter of the late Jake R. and Faye Hogan Brown, and wife of the late James “Papa Jimbo” Rogers, who died May 5, 2021.
    Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Pullium and husband Greg of Marble, and Towanna Walden and husband Carl of Murphy; a son, Dean Rogers and wife Julie of Waynesville; a sister, Clara Anderson and husband Danny of Andrews; four brothers, Larry Brown and wife Retha of Andrews, Gerald Brown and wife Karol of Baldwinsville, Mass., Coy Brown and wife  Patricia of Waynesville, and Lyle Brown and wife Nancy of Blacksburg, Va.; three granddaughters, Leah Hudson and husband Coleman, Rachelle Rivera and husband Eric, and Emily Furby and husband Evan; four great-grandchildren, Ryan and Trinity Hudson, Indie Faye Rivera and Braylen James Furby; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 1, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews, with the Revs. Mickey Stewart, Marlon Blaylock and Derrick Palmer officiating. The interment will be in Valleytown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lyle Brown, Coy Brown, Bill Bateman, Ray Frazier, Gary Rogers and Leslie McKinney.
    The family will receive friends from noon-1:45 p.m. Friday, July 1, at Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews, prior to the services.
