Carlotta “Lottie” Jane Palmer, 58, of Murphy, passed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2020.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Sandra Martin Palmer.
Carlotta was a sawmill lumber grader for Mundy’s Lumber. She was previously manager for Palmer’s Construction Company.
Carlotta loved to dance, fish, camping, reading and her family.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her stepmother, Kathy Palmer; one son, James Pendergrass; her companion in life, Doug Pendergrass; two brothers, Carlos Palmer, and Danny Palmer and wife Revonda; two sisters, Cassie Conley and husband Robert, and Noley Sutton and husband Whitey; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Murphy. The Revs. Donald Watkins and Rev. Tony Pace officiated.
The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy.
